Captain Corbett's is well experienced and supremely competent in the command role presenting credentials that include amongst others; Superior ship management and cross cultural interpersonal skills, Solid and proven negotiation and leadership qualities. Excellent ship handling abilities and a wealth of technical and commercial knowledge acquired across a wide range of demanding command roles over 27 years experience as Ships Master. Captain Corbett's exemplary record and professional reputation as a competent mariner is adequately illustrated by his election as Member of Council to the Nautical Institute and Associate Member of the Prestigious Honourable Company of Master Mariners.

History
During his years as a Commercial Master and Yacht Delivery Captain. Captain Corbett has held command of 34 vessels of up to 3000 grt and completed 117 International voyages of between one and six months accumulating a spread of experience that is worldwide including extensive experience working in difficult political and economic areas including Iran and West Africa and have made numerous transits through the Gulf of Aden, Malacca Straights and South China Seas. Captain Corbett is extremely knowledgeable regarding ISPS and ISM codes and their practical application, meeting the challenges they pose both in legislative compliance and their effective integration and implementation into ships management safety and security cultures.

Future Goals
Captain Corbett was elected to council with the Nautical Institute in June 2010 and is also involved with the IMO Working Parties and is a member of the IMO advisory panel through The Nautical Institute as an NGO (Non Governmental Organisation) for Health and Safety and Environmental Protection of The Marine Environment.
